HS DAY
The school experienced its 124th Foundation Day celebration which filled the entire campus with festive energy and thrilling excitement. Students and teachers participated in the parade and field demonstrations which created a lively atmosphere filled with moments that would remain in their memories forever. The students from each grade level demonstrated their section through creative displays which showed their school spirit and competitive spirit. The celebration served as a reminder of our school’s historical background which brings us pride as we celebrate our affiliation with it.
The event required extensive planning work because it required multiple weeks of preparation work. The school began its holiday activities because students needed to leave their classes for practice and field demonstration prop creation work. The prop-making sessions involved us working together while enjoying our time through friendly blame games whenever we lost something. The outside rehearsals which took place during sunlight hours made our practice sessions even more difficult to handle. The days brought only two activities to us which included dancing and teamwork while we experienced a fun atmosphere. We reached our final prop completion point after completing multiple practice sessions which brought us confidence to face the upcoming big event. The school maintained its active atmosphere throughout the entire day which began at sunrise. Students who arrived at school before sunrise brought colorful costumes together with their parade props. The street parade included a main attraction which featured a procession through Calle Crisologo before returning to school. We went to McDonald’s during lunchtime with Sir Zeph our Science practice teacher to eat and relax. The Battle of the Bands performance at the SPTVE building brought our school back to life because it added to the existing excitement of our celebration.
